got engaged last week.

Convention - Part 2

I just can't believe it's nearly a week since I blogged!!!

A big part of Convention is swaps!  Mine (centre) and Jules (right)
made it to the display board!  I made 100 and received 100!!!

I also made this little gift for my room-mate Jules . . .

. . . and here is the one she made me.  The beautiful box contained 3 Cath Kidson
journals and the the other some yummy chocs.

The second day was more of what we did on the first day.
Here are Jules and I making notes on all the great ideas.

Jules and I had our photo taken with the wonderful Shelli.

We finished the Convention off in style with a bottle of champagne - well
what else does one drink in Paris!!??!!

2011 Convention - Paris Disney!!!!!

Just returned from the Stampin' Up! 2011 European Convention.

WOW!!!
It was FAB_U_LOUS!!!

I've just caught up on sleep etc so am now able to share
the wonderful experience with you.

We left on Thursday and flew to Paris then on to our hotel in EuroDisney.
16 other demos in our team also went and we all ate out on
Thursday evening at the Rainforest Cafe.

Up bright and early on Friday morning in time to register.
Here is my lovely downline Jules in the queue to get into Momento Mall.

Then into the Conference Hall to inspect our Convention Bags
and all the free goodies!

Then it started and we saw her!!!
This is Shelli Gardner, the Co-Founder of Stampin' Up! and CEO.
What an inspirational women!

As you can see from the stage set this year's theme was GROW.
Here are Jules and I playing around with the set!!!

That first day of Convention was jam-packed full of exciting
things - demonstrations of new products, prize patrol (which I won but more of that later)
crafting, business training, swapping of cards, gifts and ideas.
The day concluded with the Awards Dinner where demonstrators where
recognised and rewarded for all their hard work in sales,
recruitment and leadership.
Here are Jules & I ready for the off!

My lovely Jules was rewarded for achieving 10K in sales.

Here is "mummy" Julie with Shelli and Paula receiving her
award for reaching 3rd place in the Demonstrator of the Year.
Didn't she do well?!!

But that was not all - she also entertained us with her singing - a
truly talented lady!

That was the first day - we all went to bed exhausted!

More next time
