Training Day

Hi - I'm back!

Just returned from a fabulous week of lying in the sun - and I feel

very relaxed and refreshed.

So now it's back to it.

First day back from my holiday was Training Day with the other

Stampin' Up! demonstrators in our team lead of course by

our "mummy"Julie. We had a great day with lots of fun and laughter

and some hard work!

The first thing we did was "swaps".

This is the swap I made - I'll show you the ones I

got in return next time.

Our first crafting bit was to make this lovely bag.

I did the demonstration!!!

Good job I was still relaxed from my holiday!

It went very well and the rest of the team were

very kind to me - thanks girls.

It was great meeting you all - some for the first time.

Well that's all for now as that pile of ironing will not
miraculously disappear on it's own!

Sale-a-bration Card Class

Yesterday I spent a super morning with the ladies of Eldwick Craft Club.

We made 4 cards - they thought I was a hard task master!!!

Each card is made using a stamp set which is free during

SALE-A-BRATION (30.12.10 to 28.02.11)

The first 2 cards where identical to those I made at my recent

Training Session with Julie, my Stampin' Up! "Mummy"!!!

All 4 cards use card from the Getting Started Card Pack and

the Brights Patterned DSP Stack.
We used Marker Pens instead of ink pads and one of the large punches.

During Sale-a-bration I have put these items together to make

the Special Product Offer - details down the right hand side of my blog.

The first 3 cards are made using the Punch Bunch Stamp Set
and the final one is made using the Bliss Stamp Set.

Tomorrow I will show the 2 cards we made at Monday's card class

Last night was our monthly craft club here at Oats Royd.

We made this card and an accompanying tea-light.

Card - Whisper White, Night of Navay and Marina Mist

Ink - Night of Navy and Marina Mist

Stamp Sets - Just Believe, En Francais and

Bliss (one of the free Sale-a-bration sets)

Plus Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon and Basic Pearls

Here is the arty farty angle!

We also made this tea-light. I got the idea from Angela -my SU sister!

Using the same colours and stamp sets as the card and

also vellum and the scallop border punch.

For health and safety reasons we used a battery operated

flickering tea-light!

And here they are together!

Baby Tees

Here's a quick card I made last week requested by my

step-daughter-in-law for her friend who had just had a little girl.

I used Concord Crush and Pretty in Pink with a paper

from Lap of Luxury along with the jumbo wheel Baby Tees

and the Scallop Trim Border punch.

Here is the inside using the Scallop Trim Corner punch.

Card for Angie

Happy New Year!

We have celebrated Christmas 3 times over the last 2 weeks

in 3 different parts of the country with 3 different groups of people!

So - at last - back to normality!

Here is a card I made for a friend's birthday

- hope you had a fab day yesterday Angie!

It's made using the Sale-A-Bration free stamp set Bliss in Old Olive

and Cherry Cobbler, with Old Olive satin ribbon, the Spiral Border punch

and Basic Pearls.
