Hope everyone has had a great weekend - but
where did the time go!?!
I spent a very enjoyable evening with 5 neighbours
and friends on Thursday making cards. This is one we
made especially for Linda - she doesn't do lots of colour!
I can't take credit for the idea for this card as I saw
something similar on another SU demos blog - sorry I
can't remember who's but thank you if you recognise it!!!
I've used the Four Frames, Silouhettes Sentiments and
Something to Celebrate stamp sets with Basic Black,
Basic Gray and Real Red ink on Whisper White card.
A piece of the Neutrals DSP paper was punched using
the Scallop Trim Border. Here's the arty farty angle!
That's all for now

Sail Away into the Blue!
I've spent a very enjoyable afternoon playing and being messy!!!
And here is the result!!!
I covered my craft mat in splodges of blue ink - Marina Mist,
Night of Navy, Baja Blue and Bashful Blue - spritzed it with water
and smeared a sheet of Whisper White card all over it!
I then ironed it to dry it and stamped this fabulous boat -
Sail Away - in Night of Navy.
And here are the cards I made!
This method of creating backgrounds is very effective
and works very well with this stamp.

Big Shot "Thank You" Card
Sorry (again!) for not posting but doing other crafty things!
Had a wonderful day on Saturday learning colouring techniques
using Copic Pens and on Monday with a new group of people
experimenting with different stamping techniques.
So today decided I had better make some little "Thank You"
cards to go with all the orders waiting to go out.
Here is one of them.
I've used Night of Navy and Baja Breeze card with a paper
from Springtime Vintage DSP. I've used the Vintage Wallpaper
Embossing Folder for the background and Flower Daisies#2 Bigz Die
and finished off with a Basic Jewel - Pearl.
Here's the arty farty angle.

Motorcycle in Red
Here is the fourth card we made on Tuesday.
It's great to see some stamps for mens cards in the
new Mini Catalogue. I've used Basic Black, Real Red and
Whisper White as the colour combo, the Motorcycle stamp
and Tiny Tags and Linen Thread.
The Top Note Bigz Die was a great hit.
I managed to clear the ironing mountain yesterday
so I'm now off to shift some dust!!!

For You
Happy May Day!
Here is another of the cards we will be making at
the Edwick Craft Club tomorrow. It features one of my
favourite stamp sets from the Mini Catalogue - Four Frames.
I've teamed this with one of the papers from Springtime
Vintage and Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon - also
from the Mini. I've used Regal Rose, Crumb Cake and
Very Vanilla as the colour combo.
Here is the arty farty angle!
That's all until next time
