5 Fresh Cuts!

Hi! I thought it was about time I shared the project I set myself this week.
I decided to make 5 different cards using the Fresh Cuts stamp set
and using the rock'n'roll technique.
Each card had to be a different size and shape.
This is what I came up with!
The first one is an easle card using Mambo Melon, Basic Black and
Whisper Whiteas the main colour combnations.
The paper is from the Day & Night set.

The colour combination here is Only Orange, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa
and Very Vanilla. The ribbon and buttons are Chocolate Chip.

Again I've used Mambo Melon, Basic Black and Whisper White combination.

I love this colour combination as I think it looks summery and fresh -
Old Olive, Summer Sun and Very Vanilla.

And finally a gatefold card using Rose Regal, Basic Black and Whisper White.
The paper is from the Hostess Level 1 set.
That's all for now - happy weekend.

Tuesday's Workshop

Thank you to the lovely ladies I met on Tuesday at Eldwick.
We had a busy and very enjoyable time.
Here are the two cards we made.

This card uses all the new colours which were released last month.
I've used Rich Razzleberry Card and Polka Dot Ribbon and
two of the papers from the Cottage Wall set.
They have been teamed with the Oval All stamp set and oval scallop punch.
The second card is made using Summer Sun and Old Olive ink pads and card and
the Vintage Vogue stamp set. The flower is stamped using the rock'n'roll
technique. It is finished off with a piece of striped Old Olive ribbon.
Thank you again ladies and hope to see you all later this summer.

3 New Cards!!!

Happy Wednesday!!
It has rained for most of the day so I have been catching up on all the cards I need to make.
The first one is a wedding acceptance card.
We are going to a late afternoon wedding in August and the dress code is black tie
and the theme is black and white.
I've used the Stampin' Around Very Vintage, basic black ink and card, White Whisper card and ribbon and paper from Day & Night and the scallop edge punch.

As I like using the Stampin Around wheels and the quide (new to me this month)
I got carried away and produced a few strips of Very Vintage!
I decided to use it again to make this thank you card.
The butterfly (All of a Flutter) is coloured in using Melon Mambo and a blender pen.
The "thank you" is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set with the word window punch.

My God-daughter Emma gave birth to her second son Oliver at the weekend so here
is the card I've made for her.
I've used the Polka Dot background stamp and Queue Up Level 3 Hostess set and
stamped in bordering blue ink with some colouring in using the same ink and the blending pen,
Night of Navy and Bashful Blue card and Night of Navy ribbon .
The words are from the Fun and Fast Notes set with the word window punch.
That's all for now.

Birthday Cards

Some birthdays seem to last for weeks!!

I decided it was time to take down my birthday cards this morning.

I thought I'd share these three cards with you as they were made by new Stampin' Up! friends and fellow demonstrators and naturally with Stampin' Up products.

This first one uses some of the new colours. The background paper has been made using the Simply Said stamp set and the sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings stamp set.

Thanks Jules.

The second one looks good enough to eat!! It uses the Tart & Tangy stamp set and good
old Old Olive! Thanks Angela.
The third one uses the new colours and new papers - Cottage Wall - and the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. Love the Tiny Tags - must get the stamp set and punch!
Thanks Sarah-Jane.

This week I have a long list of cards to make so I will be back later in the week
with the finished items.
