A Wonderful Craft Day

Hi!
On Saturday I fulfilled every crafters dream - a whole 6 hours of crafting!!!
Julie, my Stampin' Up! "mummy" held a Craft Day and I went along
to support her and indulge my crafting addiction.
In the morning we made this lovely desktop card set which consisted of this
card tray ............

......... with cards.
We received a wonderful goodie bag of products to use to make all our projects.
It contained - Sweet Pea Stitched Felts, Filigree Brads, Old Olive Satin Ribbon
and Old Olive and Rose Red Design Papers.
Sheets of card were in Rose Red, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie
and Whisper White.
Here are all the iems that I made for this first project.

We mainly used the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set.
That's all for now. I'll be back later with the afternoon's project.

Cupcakes, a beer and a wet Monday!

I decided to have a card-making morning as it was wet outside.
The first 2 birthday cards I made were using the Crazy for Cupcakes
stamp set - first time I'd used it!
Both are made using Night of Navy ink and card and Whisper White card.
The papers are from the Hostess Level 1 set of Design Papers.
The cherry is from the On a Pedestal stamp set and coloured in
using Rose Red ink and a blender pen.

The third birthday card is for my nephew.
I've used Soft Suede card, ink and polka dot ribbon
and Whisper White card. The punched tags are stamped with the
Cheers to You set and tiedto the ribbon with linen thread.
The paper is from To the Nines speciality design pack.

That's all for now.
Hope the weather improves!

Hello again!!
Here are the lovely swops I received at my taining day on Tuesday.
The first one is from Julie, my up-liner.
She used kraft card stock, A-Z background stamp and the apple from
Tart & Tangy stamp set.
Fab - thank you.
The second one is from Angela.
She's used My Sweet Pea stamp set and design papers from the mini catalogue.
I haven't got these - yet!!
She's teamed this with Temping Turquoise, Old Olive and Rose Red.
Lovely - thank you.

This stylish black and white card uses the Circle Curcus and
A Beautiful Thing stamp sets.
Thanks Anna.

This card uses Simply Said and Garden Whimsey stamp sets
with Pumpkin Pie , Old Olive and Chocolate Chip ink pads.
Thanks Kate for this lovely card.

And finally - something a bit different from Jill.
This folder holds a coordinating post-it pad - I shall be "borrowing" this idea!!
Old Olive card has been teamed with one of the papers from
the Sunny Day pack and finished off with
Just for You from Oval All stamp set.
Here's the opened view.

Well, that's all for now.

"Just For You" swop

Yesterday I had a fab training day with Julie, my up-liner.
I met four lovely ladies who are also in her team.
One of the many things we did during the day was a card swop.
Here is the tag card I made to swop.
I've used Summer Sun and Old Olive (again!).
The flowers are from the Greenhouse Garden set and I've used the
It's Beautiful Stampin' Around wheel on the tag and the pouch.
Just for You is from the Ovals All set and the tiny hello tag is from
the Tiny Tags set. I've also used the round oval, scalloped oval and
medium jewelry tag punches. It was all finished off with a paper from
the Old Olive set and Old Olive satin ribbon.

I will show you the swops I received from everyone else next time.

Thinking of You

I've made this card for a friend I've just heard has serious health problems.
What do you say and what do you send them?
We are fortunate that Stampin' Up! has sentiments for all occasions
and "thinking of you" is often all that is needed.

I've teamed the sentiment with the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set
and made this card.
That's all for now

Fresh Notes Gift Box

I've just made a gift box for a friends birthday using the
Fresh Notes stamp set.
The gift box is to go with one of the cards I made last week.
I've used the Old Olive and Summer Sun colour combination - a touch
of summer to go with Wimbledon and all the fab weather we are having.

That's all for now.
