Distressed Fresh Cuts!

Hi! Sorry not been around for a while but we went to Ellen's 18th
at the weekend in Surrey, then needed a day to recover from the journey
- the M1 & M25 were a nightmare!!!
Tomorrow I'm going to a training session in Manchester so have
been on a production line this week making "swaps"!!!
This is what I've made.
I've used Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card, Soft Suede ink with
Fresh Cuts and Tiny Tags stamp sets with the Medium Jewelry Tag punch,
Very Vanilla ribbon and Linen Thread.

And here are all the "swaps"!!!

Hopefully I'll be showing you later the swaps I get from other
Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.
That's all for now

SU Play-time

Hi everyone!
Had a fab afternoon yesterday with four friends.
We made a bag like the one I'd made on Julie's (my SU mummy) Craft Day.
Here is the one I made using paper from Night & Day (retiring) and
textured Basic Black card. The handles are attached using a black brad
and a flower from the Filigree Brad set.
A piece of black gingham ribbon (retiring) is attached to the gift card
in the inside pocket. The same ribbon is used along with a clear rhinestone
brad to make the flower on the small gift card in the purse.
The purse is attached to the handle with a piece of silver elastic cord.
I then made this card to finish off the set.
I've also used a piece of card from the Groom Speciality Papers (retiring).
I'm going to send it to a friends daughter for her 21st and
put the present in the bag!
Here we all are with our bags - Lynda, Julie, Angie and Susan.
Well done ladies!!!

Pocket Silhouettes and Flight of the Butterfly stamp sets, the butterfly punch
and finished off with 4 half pearls from the Pretties Kit.

I'm Back!!!

Hi - I'm back!!!
Had a fab time touring the country for the last 2 weeks - been to
some places I haven't been to for over 20 years!!!
Some had changed beyond recognition!
Oh, well enough of that. I've missed crafting and tomorrow is my day
- never mind the ironing!!

I decided to cheat a bit by showing you 3 cards I have received over the last
couple of months. Two from my Stampin' Up! mummy - Julie and one from
Jules, my SU baby!!!
In the first card the Polka Dot Ribbon won't be available in the new
catalogue.
In the second card the design papers and the stamp set
- Say it with Scallops won't be in the new catalogue.
Only the card Brocade Blue won't be available.
If you want to buy any of the above items which are retiring at the end
of September then please don't hesitate to contact me.
That's all for now

Another 18th card for Ellen!

Got a phone call yesterday asking to make Ellen an 18th birthday
card from her parents! This is what I can up with.

I've used the Level 2 Hostess stamp set from the mini - All For Friends.
I made a mask for the cake and then kept stamping it until it looked as
if it might topple over! Then finished off with the fireworks on top.
I've used Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip card and ink, Whisper White card
and Chocolate Chip satin ribbon.
The "18" is from my stash.
I've coloured in using a blender pen and the two ink pads plus
Summer Sun and Tempting Turquoise. I've also used the large oval
and scallop oval punches.
That's all for now and for the next couple of weeks as we are off
on a grand tour of the country on Thursday.
Happy crafting

Bird on a Branch in Blue!

This is a quick card I've just made for a friend (male)
who is having tests next week.
I've used one of my favourite stamp sets from the mini catalogue -
Bird on a Branch - on offer at £11.95 until the end of the month.
I've used Night of Navy card, ink and 1/4" ribbon,
Tempting Turquoise card and ink and Whisper White card.
I got the shadow effect with the "Thinking of You" by stamping in
Tempting Turquoise first and then moving the stamp slightly to
the left and above using Night of Navy.
That's all for now - enjoy the rest of the weekend

Ellen's 18th!

I can't believe that Pete's grandaughter will be 18 next month!!!
The card for her is made using Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Rose Red card,
Old Olive DS paper and ink and Rose Red ink, and Old Olive satin
ribbon with a clear rhinestone brad.
Cheers to You is the stamp set used. A blender pen and the ink pads
were used to colour in. The "18" is from my stash.

I think I'll use a different colour scheme next time!

That's all for now
