Dasher in the Snow !

A BIG thank you to the ladies of Eldwick for a most enjoyable card class
this morning. You all worked very hard - we managed to make all
four cards!!! Here is the fourth card we made.

We used Dasher and the snowflakes from the Confetti stamp set,
Whisper White ink, card and Organza Ribbon and
Not Quite Navy card and ink. We finished it off with some
Dazzling Diamond Glitter on the antlers.
Ladies -thank you again

Season of Joy

Just sneaking a quick posting in inbetween getting ready for our Bonfire BBQ
and fireworks later this afternoon!
Here is another of the cards for Tuesday's class in Eldwick.
I just love this particular stamp from the Season of Joy stamp set!
I've used Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive (my favourite colours!) with Very Vanilla.
The paper is from the Jolly Holiday pack.

That's all for now - better get back to my plot toffee!!!

Robin Red Breast!

Happy Saturday!
I've just finished prepping for a card class I am doing on Tuesday
morning with the lovely ladies of Eldwick. Here is a peek preview of one
of the cards we will be making!!!
It is CASED from a swap I received at our training event
in Manchester in September. Thanks Victoria - everyone who has seen
your swap have loved it. Here is my offering!!!

I've used Crumb Cake card and a paper from the Jolly Holiday pack for
the background along with Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.
Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Old Olive card makes up the robin
punched with the XL Two-Step Bird. The window is made using
the XL 1 3/8" Square punch and a stamp from the Hostess Level 1
Silhouette Sentiments set in Crumb Cake ink and edge in Real Red ink..
The robin is finished off with one of the new Basic Pearl Jewels for it's eye!
Another card for Tuesday next time.

For the first time I've used my pack of Basic Pearls -just love them!

Baubles!

This is the second card we made last Thursday. It is very similar
to the one we made at September's Training Event in Manchester.
Again we used the Contempo Christmas stamp set.
This time with Cherry Cobbler card and ink and Whisper White and
Early Expresso card. All finished off with the fabulous new
Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.
This is the arty farty angle!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Hi hope you all had a great weekend.
Today's post is from last Thursday afternoon when I had 6 neighbours
(and they are good friends too!) round to teach them how to rubber stamp
and make a couple of Christmas cards.
They did very well for first timers - to the extent that we are now
going to meet once a month.
Thanks girls and well done!

The first card we made was this one in Whisper White, Basic Black and
Real Red. We used the Contempo Christmas stamp set with Real Red
5/8" satin ribbon and the 1/8" Basic Black taffita ribbon.
Dimensions were used to mount the trees to the card.

Until next time
