Just Believe

This is my favourite set of all in the new catalogue - Just Believe.
Think you might be seeing a lot of this one!!!
This is the third card we made on Monday afternoon.

Same colour scheme as the other two.
We used the double rock'n'roll technique this time!!?!!
This is achieved by firstly covering the stamp with Daffodil Delight ink
then rock'n'rolling the bottom part of the stamp in Old Olive and
the top part of the stamp in Pumpkin Pie - and this is the result!!!
That's it until next week. Have a great weekend

Autumn Wreath

Here is another card that we made on Monday afternoon.
The design is CASED from my friend Angela, a SU Demonstrator -
thanks honey!
The colour scheme again is Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie but
teamed with Daffodil Delight and Early Expresso.
We used the Pocket Silhouette stamp set and 1 3/8" circle
and scallop circle punches.

That's all for now - the ironing beckons!!!

Trick or Treat!?!

Hi - I'm back!
Firstly our computer went in for it's annual health check;
then we went to the Cotswold's for our anniversary,
and lastly our computer had a nasty virus and had to be treated!!
On Monday afternoon the "girls" came round for a class
and our theme was Autumn.
This is the bag and treats we made (designs from Julie my Stampin' Up!
mummy!) and the card (designed by Emma Daye, a SU Demonstrator).
Big "Thank you" to you both.

Both the bag and card have the same colour scheme - Whisper White,
Old Olive, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie.
I've used the new Fall Harvest wheel, Tiny Tags
stamp set and lots of punches - can you identify them?
We also made two more cards which I'll show you later this week.

Happy Anniversary

It's our anniversary on Friday and I managed to make
this card for Pete without him seeing me!
We've had 27 very happy years together!
We are going to the Cotswolds on Thursday for a few days
so fingers crossed for nice weather!

I've used the Artistic Etchings and the hearts from the Confetti stamp set,
Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black ink and card and 2 papers from the
Love Letter pack. I've also used the Oval, Scallop Oval and the
Heart Small punches. The hearts are finished off
with some Rhinestone Jewels.

This is the arty-farty angle!

The Jewels have arrived!!!

Happy Monday!
We had a lovely day yesterday in South Yorkshire at my goddaughter's
son's baptism. It was great to see old friends again.
For today's card I've used the Color Coach again to determine the
colour combination - Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant and Baja Breeze.

Red Rose is used for the card and one stamp from the Confetti set
has been used to make the background pattern in the same
colour ink. Baja Breeze ink was smeared on Whisper White card
and then two of the stamps from the Hostess Level 2 Cute by the Inch set
were stamped in Elegant Eggplant. They are mounted on Whisper White
squares made using the new 1 3/8" square punch. Then 4 of the much
awaited Basic Rhinestone Jewels were used to finish off the card.
Have a nice day

The new Color Coach

At the moment I am finding the Color Coach
(sorry American spelling!) invaluable when deciding a colour
scheme for a card or craft project.
For today's card that is exactly what I used. I fanned out
the Color Coach and decided on Basic Grey because I rarely use it.

I then looked on the back of the card for suggestions of colours
to use for my card. I chose the top option
- Basic Grey, Melon Mambo and Old Olive.
And this is the card I made!
I've used the Vintage Vogue stamp set and used the
rock 'n' roll stamping technique.
That's all for now

Artistic Etchings

Hi! Today I'd like to share with you 3 cards made using one of the
new stamp sets - Artistic Etchings. This is one of the many new sets
which can be bought either as wood mounted or clear mounted.
On all three cards I've used the crown stamp to make background paper.
In this first card I've used Pacific Point and Early expresso ink and card
along with the 1 3/8" circle, word window large and heart small punches.

The second card uses Early Expresso and Cherry Cobbler ink and card
and again the 3 punches along with 1 3/4" circle punch.
The third card uses Daffodil Delight card, Night of Navy card and ink
and Old Olive card, ink and 5/8" satin ribbon along with the oval large,
scallop oval and scallop edge border punches and
a brad from the Regals set.
That's all until next time.

At Last! I'm Back!!!

At last our internet seems to be back on form and behaving itself!!
What a beautiful day here after all that rain. Thought I'd share with you
the view from our balcony this morning.

Now back to crafting!!!
I made this card last week for Fi, my step daughter-in-law.
I've used the Something Sweet stamp set with a sweet treat cup
with Rich Razzleberry card and ink and Pink Pirouette card
and the no longer available polka dot ribbon.
I've also used Sincere Salutations with the oval and scallop oval punches.
Fi just loves M&Ms so I filled the cup with them!

Well that's all today but I've been busy playing with all the new card,
papers, inks and stamp sets so watch this space!!
